We’re OpenID enabled

You can now sign in and create new accounts on userstyles.org with OpenIDs. As I discussed earlier, OpenIDs let you have one login for many sites. Not only is this more convenient, it’s probably more secure because, frankly, I’m no security expert and it’s probably better off leaving your personal info with people who know what they’re doing. I highly recommend everyone get one.

If you don’t have an OpenID, you can receive one for free from your choice of many providers (MyOpenID, GetOpenID, list of providers at Wikipedia).

If you have an existing userstyles account, don’t just enter your OpenID in the login form, no matter how tempting it is. That’ll make you a new account! Log in to your account normally,  then choose the Migrate option from your user page. Once that’s complete, THEN you can log in with your OpenID.

Great post Jason, you should consider adding this content linked to http://userstyles.org/style/tips.

In a future blog post, would you consider explaining your take on the use of whitespace, it’s obviously great for readability, but what is the real world performance impact?
