What everyone’s being hoping for
You now have the option of showing ads on userstyles.org. Yessss! Just log in, pick Edit details, and check the “Show ads” box to get the cents flowing my way. Ads are off by default for new and existing users and for people who aren’t logged in.
It’d be pretty pointless to write a style to remove the ads, but I wonder if someone will do it anyway…

The beauty of turning the ads on then making them disappear with Stylish is that YOU would still get paid for them because they’re downloaded either way… WE just wouldn’t see them - they’d just be hidden.

That’s interesting, an option to show ads that’s off by default. Has that even been done before? Not completely sure why, but I’ve turned them on.

Is showing them enough, or do we need to do an occasional click-through to make it worthwhile for you?

As far as I can tell, I only get paid on clicks.

I added @@userstyles.org to my Adblock whitelist, but I will only click the links if I see an interested one.
