Working vacation

I’ve been moving into a real life house out in the country for the past week, which is why nothing’s been happening around here. I should get Internet access on Wednesday.

The folks over on the discussion thread are getting antsy and writing their own version of Stylish with sidebar integration. Sounds good, but I’ve yet to try it out. There’s still the big looming “make the Manage Styles dialog not suck” thing to do.

There’s also some Polish (?) styles showing up on userstyles.org, which is good. I might think about l10n for the site if a lot of non-English styles start showing up. That’d just mean translations for the site itself, not nessarily for the descriptions or comments or anything.

Surely it is not Polish, it is Latvian. Not too hard to guess by the .lv domain in one of the styles :-)

    Latvian. :P
Maybe better add another feature so one can make a temporary or a “private” style that does not appear in a list but is available publicly only under users profile.

    CoolLynx is Latvian I think.

Never underestimate eastern Europe. They love their ChatZilla too.

When the first time I submit the MoFo style headbar , I didn’t ask you to change the web site default style. Actually, I want userstyles.org styles as plain as possible, and let the users use their own styles, using Stylish, of course ;) to show the advantage of Stylish (and Firefox).

About modified Stylish, actually I also make some small changes on Stylish (and other extensions) UI, just to suite my needs, but I won’t publish them, because I think it would confuse everyone.

About l10n, the site is using common computer/internet terms (users, login) submit, rate, etc.), I’m sure non-English users will understand, so I don’t think it’s necessary to localize entire site, except for the front page (the welcome message), the Stylish page, and the installation instructions.

Oh, BTW, it’s Latvian, not Polish.
